Financial/Fundraising Director
As a permanent member of press staff, I seek fundraising sources to fairly compensate other press authors and other permanent staff members. To this end, I work closely with editor-in-chief Venus Cohen to compose grant applications and seek financial venues to sustain the press.

I evaluate up to 100 submissions per week for potential publication, rejecting or endorsing pieces based upon reader evaluations. Alongside my fellow poetry editors, I decreased our average response time such that we were listed among the Top 50 Fastest Poetry Markets on Duotrope.

I evaluated up to 10 submissions per week for potential publication and provided detailed feedback to paying potential contributors. I also helped to judge the magazine’s 2021 Poetry Chapbook Contest and provided feedback for an additional fee.
